Hi! I’m Caitlin.
I’m a queer writer, author, CPTSD and sexual violence survivor, and certified Trauma Recovery Coach. I offer both Trauma Recovery Coaching sessions and Book Coaching sessions. to women and nonbinary people who have survived abuse or are otherwise living with CPTSD/PTSD.* My sessions are online in Pacific Standard Time.
I know that trauma recovery is not linear and that its after effects can linger long after the traumatic event(s) are over and,, like an uninvited guest, resurface when we least expect it. It can feel like two steps forward one step back. That’s a normal part of the process, but still, it can be frustrating, jarring, and exhausting. My goal is to provide a compassionate space, and meet you where you are, so that can you feel seen, heard, and valued in your experiences and the things you want to work on. You are the expert of your experience and this i a collaboration. Some of the tools at my disposal (besides conversation) are expressive writing, trauma sensitive movement, and somatic exercises. Living with trauma can feel isolating and othering but you’re not alone. Your story matters.
